CKC Certification Services, LLC (CKC CS), an affiliate of CKC Laboratories, Inc., is an accredited certification body for radio and telecommunications equipment. For a list of presently offered certifications and product approvals, please visit the list of our services.
CKC CS offers our certification services to any qualified manufacturer or laboratory. CKC CS is required to audit a manufacturer or laboratory that is not accredited to ISO Guide 17025 or equivalent prior to product certification. For product certifications under US FCC or Canada ISED standards, the test laboratory is required to be accredited and registered with the national regulator.
How the Certification Process Works
Submit your certification application using CKC CS's secure online file transfer service. Include all required forms and exhibits for review. If this is your company's first certification application, CKC CS can also assist you with obtaining the necessary items and preparing the proper documentation. Contact us regarding your specific needs.
A qualified engineer will review your application. You'll receive confirmation within 24 hours (business weekdays), and we'll follow up with any clarification requests during the evaluation process.
Most properly completed applications are processed within one business week. If this is your first submission, CKC CS can assist with required documentation and guidance.

CKC Certification Services, LLC (CKC CS), an affiliate of CKC Laboratories, Inc., is a designated and accredited Certification Body for Telecommunications and Radio Equipment. CKC CS provides online filing and management of applications for certification of telecommunications equipment as listed in our Services.
CKC CS is a Telecommunication Certification Body (TCB # US0103) operating under the authority of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to grant product certification of radio equipment. This authority is designated in accordance with Title 47 of the Code of Federal Regulations (47 CFR) parts 2.960 and 2.962. CKC Certification Services, LLC is authorized to perform FCC certifications on all products which fall under the scope of the FCC’s TCB program.
CKC Certification Services, LLC is authorized to perform Innovation Science and Economic Development (ISED) certifications on all products which fall under the scope of ISED’s CB program. Devices eligible for certification by CKC-CS include, but are not limited to: wireless modules (aka modular approval), low power transmitters, spread-spectrum devices, cellular radios, WiFi access points, commercial mobile radios, and wireless power transfer equipment.
CKC CS is a Notified Body (NB # 0976) operating under the authority of the European Union under the Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive (EMCD) and the Radio Equipment Directive (RED). CKC CS has the authority to determine whether manufacturer-specified standards meet the essential requirements of the directives and to issue Type Examination Certificates indicating compliance with applicable portions of directives. This authority is designated in accordance with the articles of the directives.
